Calibration of Aerosol Photometers

with polystyrene latex (psl) particles of nominal size 1 μm at flow rates of 2 to 180 L/min and polyalphaolefin (PAO)

CAPABILITY

with Calibration and Measurement Capability of the readability for probe to meter comparison; 6% for dilution ratio response;
Linearity -
2% at 100% scale reading;
3% at 80% scale reading;
4% at 60 % scale reading;
6% at 40% scale reading;
12% at 20% scale reading;
Flow rate -
From 0.05 L/min at a flow rate of 2.83 L/min increasing to 0.20 L/min at a flow rate of 55 L/min, and
From 1.11 L/min at a flow rate of 75 L/min increasing to 1.22 L/min at a flow rate of 120 L/min.

 


Calibration of Light Scattering Airborne Counters (LSAPCs)
in accordance with ISO 21501-4 Light Scattering Airborne Counters (LSAPCs)
using polystyrene latex particles of nominal sizes 0.3 μm to 10 μm at flow rates of 2.83 L/min to 120 L/min

 

CAPABILITY

Particle size -
0.0008 μm + 0.019D for particles 0.30 μm to 0.99 μm diameter (where D is particle diameter in μm).
0.011 μm + 0.0083D for particles 1.00 μm to 6.00 μm diameter (where D is particle diameter in μm).
0.51 μm for particles 10.00 μm diameter.
Flow rate -
From 0.05 L/min at a flow rate of 2.83 L/min increasing to 0.20 L/min at a flow rate of 55 L/min, and
